Angelina K. Gus’kova is a Lenin Prize winner, an Honored Scientist of the RSFSR, RAMS Corresponding Member, MD, Professor, a Member of the UN National Commission on Radiological Protection since 1959, an Expert of the UN Scientific Committee on the Atomic Radiation Effects since 1967, Main Researcher of the Burnazyan FMBC, FMBA of Russia, a laureate of the Sievert Prize for protection against radiation. Her main activity since 1953 is radiation medicine (diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic radiation sickness).
