The readers are offered a book that examines the practical issues of assessing the current state and long-term prediction of radiation exposure levels of nuclear industry enterprises, including nuclear legacy objects, per person and the environment. A significant place in the book is given to the formation of judgments about whether such an impact is permissible and to what extent protection measures are necessary.
The targeted audience of the book is employees of industrial organizations engaged in activities in the field of nuclear energy and specializing in radiation safety and environmental protection, as well as specialists in the management of atomic energy and state safety regulatory bodies.
The materials of performed studies have been prepared by the non-profit organization Energy Ecological Safety Fund in the framework of greater activities envisaged by the Federal Target Program "Ensuring Nuclear and Radiation Safety for 2008 and for the Period until 2015".
